Nice capture Larry. Terrific that you saw these two nest and were able to include so many herons in the image. Is the rookery close to your home? Spending some time around the rookery when the young are active can provide hilarious displays of avian behaviour.

Beauty! Fantastic sky contrasted with the mountain. Nicely exposed. Given how white everything is and the bright light you did a good job not blowing highlights.

Hi Alan, appreciate your interest. In spring and summer, calving occurs daily. Obviously at freeze up the glacier locks up as well. The snow depth in the B&W image is actually not that deep. The polar regions are actually quite dry
