Thanks Trent - you might be correct about this being a Raven instead of a Crow. The one at Bryce doesn't quite look like the endless crows we have around my area in the Pacific NW.
That rock face shows several small sets of falls just in this frame alone. I would make a lousy hiking companion if I came across a place like this and your goal was to get somewhere else in a hurry :) Very cool.
I dug around a bit and managed to find some wings in desert settings to fit Eric's theme. While I am well aware there are lots of birds in the deserts I haven't usually been looking for them with my camera in hand so my offerings are bit on the sparse side.

Thanks Jameel - I was thinking it was a bit of a bust when I landed and unloaded the memory card but as I looked this scene over decided it would be worth processing anyway. It turned out better than I expected. This morning we finally got some good color again but I haven't processed any of...
Thanks Michael - this morning's sunrise edition turned out much better for vivid colors but this one ended up having more interesting textures and overall light.
I had high hopes for a glorious sunrise yesterday morning when I grabbed my drone and wandered out to my deck. Nice overhead patchy clouds as I could see it from the ground but once I got my drone up above the rooftops and trees it was clear that my optimism wasn't warranted with extensive...
