Thanks Michael - certainly frozen in time. Not sure what that place would look like in actual subfreezing temperatures but getting down to this viewpoint would be treacherous to say the least.
Another sea foam shot at Cape Perpetua from last fall showing the bizarre shapes that can be isolated in active wave action using high shutter speeds.
C&C always welcome.
Thanks Jameel - I am still surprised at how much better the 168mm lens is compared to the 166mm on the Mavic 3 Pro. This was using it with the 12MP setting.
Thanks Jim - pretty much sums up my take on the shot as well. I am ready for a change in this weather. We finally got some clouds yesterday but they buried any chance of a nice sunset and were long gone by sunrise this morning.
Last light of the day over Mt. St. Helens. Some clouds might have been nice but in this case the air pollution added a nice hue to the snow cover earlier this month. There is less snow on the mountain after an unusually dry January. Single frame at 168mm.
C&C always welcome.
It's almost a little hard to believe how good auto-focus and tracking is with the current generation of cameras. This might be an adolescent bald eagle but I wouldn't want to place bets on that.
I don't recall microwaves and WiFi in the 1950's although window air conditioners were more common than whole house AC
It certainly does have that olde 1950's vibe to it. Not particularly anxious to relive those days myself.....
Its hard to take a landscape image in the Pacific Northwest without a bit of vegetation :)
