Where do you get canvas wraps?

I know this post is a bit old but I have had good experiences with Costco if you can live with their lack of choices on size and if you can live without a mirror sides option. Beyond Costco's limitations I have used Adoramapix.com and been very pleased. No tax and free shipping over $49. But the...

    Mobius Arch

Yeah, I never understood the attraction of Mt Whitney thru the arch. Mt Whitney would be indistinguishable if it weren't for the two, lower peaks to it's left. This makes a much better photo.

    McWay Twilight

Beautiful. Big Sur, another place I'd like to get to.

Union Pacific Passing Through Neenah. Wisconsin

It has a dark feel to it which I like. But it also appears to have a vignette? If so, I might eliminate that given the overall darkness.

    Old Ford

I love old cars and old car shows. But I have yet to take any good photos. I'm going to use Jim's excuse and say the surrounding environment is not conducive to me taking award winning shots of those old beauties. :-) But I do love seeing them.

    Deadhorse Point

I like this as well. The clouds really do a wonderful job of guiding your eyes into the image.

    Happy Isles, Yosemite NP

That's the back and forth I have with it. I feel like it isn't bad, but it isn't really what it should be.

    A Pier(c)ing Glow

Jim, I think this is what they call rubbing it in. :-)

    Silver Lake Flats

Pardon the redundancy but this is absolutely gorgeous. I would actually get up early to photograph that. :D

    Happy Isles, Yosemite NP

I'm with you in that I'm done with it. It is what it is. It's in Yosemite and I go once or twice a year. It is a spot I like to visit but not something I can just pop in for. I may be back for fall colors in late Oct/early Nov, but the conditions will definitely be different. The water will be...

    10 Seconds in Yosemite

I only bought my 6 stop ND right before my recent trip to Yosemite. I didn't buy it for the trip and I didn't expect to use it. But I was wrong. I used it a few times and what really amazed me was that my camera (D7100) focused through it every time. I thought I might have to put it on and take...

Hydro Power Plant Long Beach California

Very nice Dave. But I was expecting Bryce Canyon. No? :-)

    Happy Isles, Yosemite NP

I guess I should have mentioned I used a 6 stop ND filter. The sun was also behind the clouds for most of the shots I took here. I’ve never taken the time to learn layers and blending and the like. I probably should, but generally speaking, I don’t like spending forever on processing. I really...

    Glacier Point, Yosemite NP

Thanks Jim. I shot this upon entering the park the first day. The forecast for the week i was there was for minimal to no clouds. Those weren't the best clouds, but I was still pretty excited to see more than nothing.

No need to process the videos unless that's your thing. This was right out of the phone. I will say though that apparently you cannot just email the video because somehow the phone will degrade the video in order to compress the file for email. You have to transfer the file via a file sharing...

    Happy Isles, Yosemite NP

Yeah, the wind was mostly just from the flow of the Merced as it was coming down from Vernal Fall. It's not something you can easily explain to someone without experiencing it.

No, if you click on it, it will open the video in a new tab. For some reason i couldn't get the video to embed.
