I just saw that Jasper National Park has a huge Wildfire going on and that one-third of the town of Jasper has burned to the ground. Thank goodness the area where this boat house exists has not been affected by the fire.

Nice find, Ken. This is an ammonoid fossil. I can't tell you specifically which one because I don't know the specific geology of this area and obviously can't see the internal structure. Here is a Wikipedia article on the subject for more information. Ammonoidea - Wikipedia
