I was lucky to have the Snowy Creek approach to Rock Mt. all to myself on a beautiful Sunday yesterday. I brought my drone and A7r2, but didn't have time for much photography since I had to be home for dinner with company arriving from out of town. I barely made it to the ridge just below the...
Drone view of Glacier Creek and the waterfalls you hike up next to. The crazy straight up climbers trail is visible to the right (it has a fixed rope for handholding in the steepest spot). As you can see we are starting to get a bit of color up in the mountains.

I haven't had much luck shooting hyper lapses on my Mavic 2 Pro (DJI's term for time-lapse mode on their devices). I've been trying to capture moving clouds, which of course means there is some wind, which means the drone has to adjust itself and can't maintain a perfect position. I tried a...

I was hoping for a nice sunset after enjoying the thunderheads over the mountains when my wife and I went for a walk yesterday. From the backyard a while later I noticed a bit of a rainbow, so sent the drone up to check...
I brought my drone on a little morning hike of the Lime Kiln trail yesterday. It's nice to be able to position your camera where you want it above a river. This is a 4 shot pano taken with a DJI M2P. I've been shooting all my stills as 5 shot bursts then stacking and blending them in post to...
Drone view from above my house this morning. For the first time with my Mavic 2 Po I used the stack - smart object - median method to combine 5 shot bursts to deal with noise. After doing that I stitched the 9 resulting images to create this pano.
Edit, I just noticed when looking at a larger...
I drove to a new location to fly my drone and catch the sunset over Lake Stevens last night. This pano includes the Olympics which are directly west, and Mt. Baker (dimly visible on the far right) to the north.

I hauled my DJI MP2 up Vesper Pk. in the Cascades yesterday. We thought it was going to be a mostly sunny day, but the mountains got socked in, we even got sprinkled on at the summit. I was disappointed with the light, but managed to get a few good shots. These are frame grabs from 4k video...
The morning fog complemented the sunrise above my house (drone view) this morning.

I took my DJI M2P drone along for another run on Mt. Pilchuck yesterday. This time I was solo and was quite happy with the active track performance. These are screen grabs from the 4K video which I shot without a ND filter so that I could get sharp stills.
I'm the red dot lower left of...
There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
