Great National Park. Was there for peak fall colors in late September. Wonderfully isolated and as yet unappreciated! You have a wonderful cave system, Bristlecone Pine forest, hiking trails. etc.

The Opera House in Reykjavik, Iceland, has magical windows especially when viewing from the interior of the building.

Besides sheep, churches and waterfalls, the horses especially in the north of Iceland made for fun subjects.

12 days in Iceland with generally rotten weather. Stayed up for sunsets most night that occurred at 11:30 PM. Generally, unexciting because of fog/clouds or rain. Here are two that a like. I HDR'd the heck out of one of them!

Churches are ubiquitous in the Icelandic countryside. Find a small settlement with a few farms and you will likely find a church, invariably dressed in white and red as are most barns and farmhouse. (I have thrown in one faraway example.) buildings.

Weather not great but at least in some instances made for nice subjects for BW conversion. Godafoss, Dettifoss, Sellfoss

These Sea Stacks are on the southern coast near Nik. Was unable to get to the arguably best shooting location because of uncertainty of the tides so we played it safe.

This rookery is on the east coast of Iceland. Very accessible and crowded with photographers and puffins, but lots of fun.

A magical part of Death Valley, always a treat in the early AM especially if the wind has blown the night before and erased all the photographers' footprints! These shots are from two workshops in the Valley.
