    Hanging out with the Eagles

    These two Eagles were just Hanging out at the Semiahmoo Spit, it is a long narrow land barrier to the Blaine Harbor. Lots of ducks, geese, and assorted water birds on both sides. Makes for good hunting.

    Yes Alan, they do catch fish this way, Unfortunately I do not have a photograph showing a catch, and when they get a large fish it does look like the bottom jaw unhinges temporarily. for some reason it does not look like a great way to eat to me. But fun to watch.
