A couple of nice prominences from this morning. Taken with the Lunt 60 and ASI 1600mm camera. I also used a 2x barlow.

Sunspots and nice prominence from this morning.

I added some Hydrogen alpha data the color shot I posted before. I have a total of 8.7 hours of shots. This was taken in Bortle 8 skies between Walmart, Lowes, Burger King and a bunch of car dealers.

I had a couple of clear nights. This is the soul nebula taken with the Takahashi FSQ106 with a 0.73 reducer, ASI 1600mm camera. I took 20-360 sub for each filter. I used the 5nm Hydrogen Alpha, 5nm O3 and a 5nm S2 filter. This is taken from Bortle 8 skies.

It's been a rough summer for deep sky and finally it's starting to clear at night. I took this image in 2019 and this past week I was able to add and hour for each filter, Ha, O3 and S2. This is a little over 9 hours taken from a very light polluted area.

This was taken over a 90 minute period, about 10 minute intervals. I used a ASI 224mc camera and a Celestron 9.25 edge with 0.7 reducer and 2.5 powermate. Took the best 40% of 2500 frames for each sequence.

I'm lucky to live in an area where we can see endangered Red Cockaded Woodpeckers. I don't see them every time I go to the area but they do show up on occasion.
