This is from my daughters backyard a few days ago. I spotted these 2 and captured them first, about an hour later the squirrel I posted before came along.

Not sure what they were, but they seemed to be singing a beautiful song.

Wow, great shots everyone. "Snow Geese congregating on a pond" is also a fantastic landscape Douglas, gorgeous light catching the flying birds perfectly exposed.

My contribution for today is.......surprise - more seagulls

I took this shot of a bunch of them yesterday morning while I was out for the sunrise. Gulls like to hang out where fresh water streams flow into the ocean along the beaches. In this case they are standing in Harris Creek.

Seagulls are a common bird, but I find them very beautiful and interesting. Natures clean up crew.
