"The Lady Looks Good"
I've been missing in action for a while. Humble apologies!
My desktop computer has been down and am still having a few issues with it. We also were out of town for ten days earlier this month. We vacationed in New York City. I have many images to sort through as you can imagine. It will take some more time as we are leaving again in a few days. I wanted to get an image up and explain my absence.
Back Story: I do NOT like heights! In planning the NYC trip I called a helicopter company to inquire about a tour of lower Manhattan. My adult daughter was in the room and heard my conversation. When I got off of the telephone she simply said, "I want to go". But it was with that "I'm going!" tone of voice. Here is the unnerving part: the helicopter tour was a "doors off" tour! I don't like heights, but I desperately wanted the images! It was 30 minutes of unnerving terror and thrilling at the same time! I think the trip should have been about an hour earlier to get sharp images, so I'm not expecting many keepers from the tour. A father/daughter memory maker was experienced for sure.
Nothing very artistic here. Just a shot of Lady Liberty from a unique perspective. I was pretty sure I was going to die!!
