Once again, it's time for my dogwood trees to bloom. I make the early journey out the side door with a cup of coffee and camera in tow. I have been photographing this particular tree for about 13 years, and every year, I wonder what I will do to capture something different. Over the last several years, I have been experimenting with various forms of selective focus and levels of over-exposure to create isolation. Attempting to paint images with the camera, so to speak, this year, I also added in-camera double exposure, which I also find interesting for this type of work...here are a few of the images I have worked on so far.
