Perpetua Cappuccino

One more frothy scene from a rather active day along the Oregon coast at Cape Perpetua. Handheld shooting when conditions get this active can be a lot of fun - I left my tripod behind on this particular day so I could react more quickly to the waves as they put on their display of stormy fury.

C&C always welcome.

Wow! Looks like Cool Whip! :) Amazing conditions, well captured.
Thanks Mike - on a stormy day like this the horizon sucks so my photo focus trends towards smaller scenes with interesting features. The shape shifting going on with the foamy mess in these basalt ledges was fun to play with.

That is the creamiest looking foam from the ocean I've seen. If it weren't so briny I would love a taste!
Thanks Tim - there were some amazing textures to work with. There was enough salt spray in the air that licking my lips even tasted salty. Not sure I want to find out what that foam was like :)
