Super cool Bob! I am hoping I might be able to shoot the Super Blood Moon this Sunday, though the weather could be a factor.

I would like to get a shot like your Yosemite one but where the moon is even closer to Half Dome. I think I have seen Gary Hart do it before.

If I recall correctly, I shot mine in early October. I think December or January aligns the moon better with Half Dome.
