when I got home to see the eye contact between the bird and the fish all I could think of was "It was at this moment, he knew he Messed up!" Then the chase to follow.
To get to the other side Jim. HeheheheWow Joe!!! That’s amazing, perhaps a once in a lifetime photo? I have never seen anything like that.
Why was the fish jumping?
Not much the fish could do once things reached the stage in your first shot. Nice lunch for the gull!
And good eye contact for your lens.
They tried to steal it, but he got away with it.OOPS!! "I can't believe I jumped at the wrong time." Neat series, Joe. Did he make away with the fish or did the other one steal it from him?
I don't know, but it was his last mistake he made.Wow Joe!!! That’s amazing, perhaps a once in a lifetime photo? I have never seen anything like that.

It was taken at Sabastian inlet in Florida. Thanks for the ID.Love it! Kudos on a great shot. If you put locations, it will help me with identification. Okay, I know very little about fish, however, I may have seen this fish in the coastal waters of the Chesapeake Bay. I think it's an Atlantic Menhaden. I'm pretty sure that is a juvenile laughing gull
Thank you all very much.Perfect timing...cool shots!
sometimes luck is on my side and thank you Pepper.haha, that's a big oops from the fish. nicely captured, the timing on this is awesome.
