It's that time of the week again. Go ahead and share some waterfalls in this thread!
I'll kick it off with Svartifoss (Black Falls) in southern Iceland.
This was one of my first night photos, and remains a favorite. I was in Yosemite Valley chasing moonbows and stopped at this flooded area near the swinging bridge to capture Yosemite Falls by the light of the full moon.
I took this a few years ago on a 1-night trip to Yosemite Valley (entered the park after dark and left before dawn). I really enjoyed shooting some icons with nobody else around. For this one I added some light to the tree with my flashlight.
Any thoughts are welcome.
I had seen enough photos of this Icelandic icon that I wasn't completely enthusiastic about making the drive to see it. Nevertheless, I made the trek and was rewarded with a wonderful sunset that just kept going. So now you get yet another photo of Kirkjufellsfoss (church mountain waterfall)...
Here is another collection of videos I shot while set up for still photography of waterfalls in Oregon and Washington last year. Any thoughts are welcome.
Willow Creek Falls in Wisconsin. While in Minnesota for their State Fair I was looking for waterfalls to shoot. This one not far over the boarder from Minneapolis. A short little hike takes you here.
All comments welcome,
Jim
There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
