Lake Stevens, Mt. Rainier behind

I got these on a quick trip over to Leavenworth with out of town friends. We were heading for a walk to a waterfall if it wasn't raining yesterday but kept a drive further east as a back-up. I'm sure there are many Snow Lakes around the world, I know of two here in WA. I'd never been to the one in Mt. Rainier NP until last week when my wife and I did the easy 2.7 mile hike into it (don't be fooled by the trailhead sign that says 1.1 miles!). No views of Rainier from here, but...

I was lucky to have the beach to myself for a while at sunset a few years ago.

I spent more time flying the drone since I hadn't gotten out with it for a while, but this shot with my RX100 IV, low down by the river working the reflections is my favorite of the day.

In the previous thread I replayed to Alan (great photo IMHO) about taking a photo at midday light but I myself lost again and surrendered to that magic light yesterday at my hometown beach. To be honest I was so happy to be there after a while. C&C are welcome as always.

Shot using the smooth reflexion app on a Sony A7rII. I think I set it to combine 48 shots over a couple minutes. Loosing the apps (this one and time lapse in particular) was the biggest complaint among Sony users in the III series.
