I believe this is a Great Egret. I shot it in Bolsa Chica Wetlands a few days ago with my Nikon D850 and the Tamron 150-600mm G2. The sun was getting low and I liked how it was backlighting some of the feathers and giving them a golden glow.

The wife put up a mesh sock type feeder for the Finches. They love it, sometimes there's 10 of them on it at once! A couple weeks ago, I noticed the fall colors in the yard were similar to the Gold Finch colors. I set up the 400mm and waited. This little lady was checking me out.

Another shot at my backyard fountain. I had no idea the birds would like this so much and that I'd have so much fun watching/photographing them. This one is looking down from my deck.

There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
