I believe this is a Great Egret. I shot it in Bolsa Chica Wetlands a few days ago with my Nikon D850 and the Tamron 150-600mm G2. The sun was getting low and I liked how it was backlighting some of the feathers and giving them a golden glow. All comments are welcome, Jim

The wife put up a mesh sock type feeder for the Finches. They love it, sometimes there's 10 of them on it at once! A couple weeks ago, I noticed the fall colors in the yard were similar to the Gold Finch colors. I set up the 400mm and waited. This little lady was checking me out.
