Well done with what you have. Very good PP on this. If the image was a tad sharper and the highlights brought down a bit, it would be pretty much spot on. I've been in the same weather pattern as you this whole Winter. If its not cloudy, we have 20mph winds and big gusts like we have today...
LOL on the glasses. I tried to keep it on the realistic side here. Hopefully we'll have another comet coming through so I can put my tracker on it and then stack the heck out of it. I'll be zooming in next time too. lol It's all good fun.
I've seen many pictures where people used composites and made the comet to big for the landscape. Neowise was pretty small unless, of course, just photographing it zoomed in.
I certainly wish I had my HEQ5 Pro equatorial mount last year. I could have tracked this comet and kept the shutter open forever to really bring out it's details. Oh well. Here it is above Rhode Island's iconic Newport Bridge.
Well, I'm happy for you and can't wait to see what you capture. The wife and I are really tired of the weather here in Rhode Island. With my Son stationed in Texas and a Daughter living in Hollywood, it's only natural we head West. We loved Arizona when we visited and it would be perfect weather...
There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
