Jim it's pretty easy to do the flats you basically duplicate your image remove the stars from your duplicate then use clone stamp to remove the galaxy's then use morphology tool to give it a slight blur then use pixelmath to combine images
Pixel math is your regular...
Initially the Rcos Scope and the fli pl16803 camera was matched together at a resolution of 1.07 but we had issues with I believe what was called exit pupil totally making the images look horrible and could not flat them out. We decided to switch the camera out and put on the ml8300 this worked...
I took this image back in 2011 on the rcos with the 16803 at that time we had flat issues with the RCOS and 16803 Camera
we figured out it was exit pupil causing the issue so I switched cameras putting 16803 on the Tak
and ml8300 on the rcos
so yesterday a friend mentioned doing synthetic...
Re worked the Horse in Pixinsight most of the work was on Dynamic background trying a different way than normally do it and I am pleased at the end result
There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
