The car lights swept across the slowly darkening spring landscape. Summer is on its way, I thought. But winter still tried to hold the land in its cold grip. I headed towards the lake, where just under a week ago, I had witnessed perhaps the most extraordinary northern lights show of my life...

This was a strange night. Auroras were not that active, but their shape and color kept constantly changing.

This is nothing special, a basic astro landscape... ...but, it's taken with a cell phone. I bought a Google Pixel 8 Pro. It has a special astro-mode, that takes 16 frames with 16 seconds exposure each. Then, it stacks them together. It outputs a 50 megapixel dmg -file. Pretty amazing what...
