Wow! Now that's what I needed for the huge Aurora storm on Friday night. I needed a great foreground like you got. This is world class Matti.

Thanks everyone!

This photo has eluded me for over a decade. I have wanted to take a photo where auroras and summer meet. But It's very difficult, because when summer comes, dark skies vanish. So, the window is approx. two weeks to get this kind of photo.

Then again, its not possible every year. The auroras have to spread to the southern sky, because northern side is too bright. So, the actual window for a photo like this is maybe a couple of times in a decade.
