was thrilled to find this family of 9 otters - we would follow them up and down the Bear Trap Canyon on the Ennis Lake - lots of fun and action eating Carp and playing chase - never could get all 9 in a shot
I have been chasing this Jumping spider thru the bushes - they are about 1/8" long and quick - but I was working with my R5 and Ef Macro 100mm (f11, 1/2500/ iso 200) with adapter really pleased it worked so well - this also shows the comparison of "as shot" and then crop with Topaz Gig-a-Pixel...
this is a unique event that occurs in Mid March and Mid September - the shadow of a Cougar forms on the superstitions Mountains - lots of people get out and photograph it - Took this on Saturday with the moon rising at the South end of the mountains - (now you have to use your imagination)
been practicing with this feature - it works well - I did think that Photoshop did a better job of merging than DPP but I will have to try some more - I was concentrating on the center of the flower- It is very cool to have it do this automatically

this guy had the fish for quite a while before getting it in the correct position to swallow it right down - even dropped it a couple of times but eventually got it
many years ago (40+) some Rosy Faced love birds escaped in the Phoenix area - well they have thrived in the area and are now considered a colony in the valley - they are cute and colorful so I am always on the look out for chances to photograph them - today we had a lot with some fun behaviors -
I was trying to find another location to see the comet and my StarWalk app indicated that the ISS space station would be passing right over it on Friday at 9:24 PM - now had to find a suitable foreground - since being stuck in Arizona all summer due to health concerns our travel has been limited...
we are not usually here in AZ at this time of year but we have not been able to travel in our RV yet so that allowed us to see the baby burrowing owls this May and June
There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
