The only Pine Grosbeaks i have seen are in the Boreal Forest about a three hour drive north of the city I live in. Recently the Merlin Bird ID app has identified them in my local park and I briefly saw one fly in the tops of the spruce trees. I went out yesterday to see if I could get a photo. As I was walking to the park I noticed some birds in an ornamental crab-apple tree just a block from my house. Once my heart rate cooled off
I was able to get some photos of the birds happily eating the fruit.
