Yesterday morning

I drove up to Squaw Peak to catch the flowers and sunrise. There were no clouds and the flowers are still a week or two from peak. But the flower plants look to be in excellent condition. But not sure I will be able to fit in another trip.

The mules ears are incredibly thick up there. I don't recall seeing them in stands quite that dense before. Neat set - I especially like the framing in the first image.

Neat shots.. find a way to get back there durring the full bloom it looks like it could be pretty amazing.

These are great looking. You definitely need to squeeze another trip back up there in a couple of weeks with some clouds.

These are wonderful images but this is going to be spectacular, Ben. Make sure you get back there for the peak. You will never forgive yourself if you don't. I still rue the time I didn't go to Carrizo Plain in 2017. That was the best bloom of the century including this last year.
