I just got notified yesterday that I won 3rd place in the Landscape category for the Vermont Magazine 2021 Photo Contest!! I'm so psyched :D I never entered a contest before so this comes as a nice surprise. I think it will be printed in the fall issue coming out shortly.

I will post the winning photo but first I thought it would be fun to share the 10 photos I submitted and see what your favorites are. I have them all in a Google Photo album so take a look here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/RuuwpBDPGfA5Qqpe8

They have titles on them. Let me know which one you would pick!

That's so awesome Amy! Congratulations.

I just logged into the Google Photo Album and I am liking what I see. I will comment later with my favorites as I want some time to let them all soak in.

Congratulations for your result in this contest.

I see a couple in that set that would be good candidates - my own top choice is Misty Morning at Otter Creek followed by Autumn Reflections. Three Feet of Snow in East Dorset was quite good as well.

Congrats! All great photography but even though it is not landscape "Three Feet of Snow in East Dorset" has Vermont written all over it.

Thanks, everyone! It was an interesting exercise to choose which photos to submit. Narrowing it down to 10 was hard.

@Dale Berlin - that is so true! 🤣

Mallards in the Marsh. Since this is a contest with many entries, I figure they have enough snowy images. Mallards in the Marsh has something interesting happening.
