The isolation of the birds in your photos is spectacular! They move so quickly and you catch them perfectly.

Mine are not the best image quality, but here is a variety of hummingbird photos from our yard.

Sipping from a red yucca -- it seems to be a favorite.

Sitting on my wife's hand for feeding -- they are remarkably brave and friendly little birds.

This was a bird in the early morning, in a stage of torpor. After a short while, it warmed up and flew away.

Babies in a nesting place we set up just for a hummingbird nest.

And a hummer taking an early morning bath in our bird fountain.

My hummer offering seems rather unworthy after the imagery above. This is a young Anna's Hummingbird perched on some arborvitae outside of my office window.

Capturing the yellows, golds, and red in the gorget is special, Alan. Add in exquisite details and it is a very worthy addition to today's Winged Wednesday.
