Never an easy act to follow - beautiful shots Eric.

My meager offering for today is yet another collection of Seagulls. In this case along Cannon Beach with the Tollamook Lighthouse lurking in the distance.

I can't look at a photograph like this without hearing Richard Harris's voice in my head, narrating "Johnathan Livingston Seagull". (I'm don't know if you familiar with it, if not I strongly recommend a listen. Thanks for the flash back.

I was up at Estes Lake for the 4th of July fireworks and I had just parked when I noticed 3 birds circling overhead. They kind of look like vultures, but I am not sure. I got about 6 or 8 shots before they flew off. My D850 was still in Multiple Exposure mode, so that made for some head scratching until I realized I couldn't change the ISO while in the mode, I had to exit it.

This of course is a single exposure. One of the cool features of the D850 in ME mode is it saves the images it's using for the ME, so I still had these single images.

Sure looks like a vulture to me. My Peterson's Field Guide says Turkey Vulture.
