Due to the pandemic this week's winged Wednesday are a pair of Gambel's quails photographed in my yard. I have to admit that my yard is an outdoor studio. I have feeders to attract the birds, perches and a blind 10 feet from the set-up.

A pair of Hoopoes feeding after returning to their summer patch.
At last the sun has shown up after a few days of cloud cover. Can top up my battery and use the computer again. One thing this way of life teaches us is not to take anything for granted.

I am back to that species that hangs out where I tend go to shoot landscapes - more seagulls This is from Beverly Beach State Park in Oregon. The ocean was a bit riled up that day with an incoming storm.
