Today's Winged Wednesday is a single photo of two hummingbirds having a pointed discussion. The top hummer is a female black-chinned and the bottom hummer is a female broad-tailed. I used 6 flashes set at 1/32 power stopping motion to around 1/20,000th of a second.

This is an Anhinga in Florida with the catch of the day. I'll bet he's thinking: "what the hell do I do now."

A couple of cranes from a trip to South Africa last year. Two blue cranes and the last a grey crowned crane.

Wow - great images so far. My offering for today is far more humble fare. My shot came out of some afternoon wanderings in the Bisti/De-Na-Zin wilderness in New Mexico from a few years ago. The markings were a bit hard to discern but I believe it is a house finch based on the reds.

I know this is just a pigeon but with the politically correctness of the current society he is a Rock Dove. He is, in fact, quite a pretty bird and you did a nice job on this one, Jameel.
