My contribution to Winged Wednesday is the cinnamon teal. After 9 years in Arizona, I final got photographs of this small, very shy, dabbling duck. Teals take to the air without warning at the blink of an eye. These selections are from a sequence of 15 photos that started before takeoff. I have always appreciated the cinnamon color
and the blue in the wings, however, the explosion of color exceeded my wildest expectations. BTW, 15 photo sequence is less than a second.

Great shots Eric,
This bird showed up in the county I live in this past month. This was the first siting ever recorded for my county in SW FL.. It stayed pretty far away so I couldn't get a good pic.
