For me, I have to capture birds where I find them. This was in Dillion Colorado last Sept, just before going on a fall color hike.

My contribution for today is a group of Tundra Swans doing the opposite of Erics beautifully active examples - just hanging out at the Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge.

That's a lot of tundra swans. Do you know why their heads are rusty? Their heads get iron stains while bottom feeding.
