My contribution for today's Winged Wednesday are yard bird. The first four photos were taken in the last 6 days.

There was zero snow fall in 2020, however we had a 8 inch of snow on 1/27/21. These two are arguing over suet hidden in the cholla perch. Female House sparrow on the left. Dark-eyed junco on the right. The junco won.

This beauty is an Audubon's warbler (yellow-rumped warbler) on ocotillo cactus

Here are my contributions for this week:

This is a Wood Stork at Green Cay Preserve in FL. This bird was considered endangered in 1984 but because of conservation efforts was down listed to threatened in 2014. They can reach about four feet in height and have a wingspan of about five feet.

This is a Harris Hawk about to land. This was taken at a place near Prescott, AZ called the Arizona Raptor Experience
