A change of pace for today's Winged Wednesday: Yellow insects.

The Valley Carpenter Bee is perhaps the prettiest bee I've ever seen.

This is a leafhopper nymph. As an adult, his segmented abdomen will be covered by wings

Nice images so far. I don't think I have seen a bee quite like the Valley Carpenter Bee before - quite interesting.

My wings are an Anna's Hummingbird perched in some arborvitae outside of my office window guarding the nearby feeder.
