Eric is not here so I am starting this weekly feature. I am starting off with a flying Red-shouldered Hawk.

Beautiful colors on the spread wings - very nice.

This is a Great Blue Heron lurking on the rocks at the Devil's Punchbowl near Otter Crest along the Oregon coast.

Here is mine.

An angry red tail. I later found she had a nearby nest so I stayed away after that.

That is a sweet image of a black-throated sparrow, Jim. It is nice and sharp so you can crop it down and still have a quality image.

That is a great image of a Great Blue Heron, Alan. I really like the rocks it is standing upon.

It was pretty cold in Jackson and these ducks talk about brain freeze! brrr
