White crosses with asbestos mine wastes

Seen last Sunday in Thetford Mines, Quebec. The mountains in the back are Asbestos mine wastes. So many miners passed away in the last 100 years

I am guessing most of the grave markers document short life spans for workers in those mines. Makes a good B&W.
