While waiting I processed a winter target

Since I am new and had some time due to clouds and smoke I thought I would share one of my winter targets - the familiar Orion nebula.
I once heard it being called the "Hunters Rose" and I liked that, especially in this orientation. This is a combination of 40 10 second exposures at zero gain

How cool Andy! I had never heard that it was called the Hunters Rose before. But seeing it in this orientation, it sure does look like a red rose!

We must have been thinking alike, because I had just posted one of Orion that I was able to capture last week before sunrise.

Congrats again on your work with this Andy. I really can't get over how it looks like a rose. I have been doing Deep Space Astro for almost 2 years now and had never noticed that before.
