Nice clouds. Funny, one of my favorite landscape photos is a result of grabbing a 5AM coffee at Starbucks. Luckily, I had my camera gear in the trunk of my car when I saw a great photo opportunity. I pulled off the side of the road and spent 10 mins grabbing a few images.

This is very nice! I like those clouds.
In Utah, typically if you are on a road, you are only a few feet away from some cool landscapes, especially on he I-70 which I end up driving a lot. So like you, I drive aware of my surroundings and if the light or clouds turn special, I will be pulling off and quickly setting up for a shot.
