Weston School Fireworks, Nov 2023

Every year close to Guy Fawkes' Day (5 November) the Weston School hosts a fireworks extravaganza as a fundraiser. This year it was met with light rain that did nothing to dampen the spirits of the 3000 or so people who came to watch (impressive for an area with a population just over 13,000). You can see the droplets that formed on the front of my lens, but I kinda like the effect they caused on the images.

The rain drops add an interesting effect to the fireworks displays. Nice job with the fireworks show.

This brings back a memory that I learned about Guy Fawkes Day from reading Paddington Bear books as a kid.
