Waterfall Wednesday 9/5/2018

Today marks one year since we first started a recurring waterfall pile-on thread on Wednesdays. Many thanks to all who have contributed.

My offering this week is Hidden Falls in Glacier National Park. They are pretty much hidden from a good view to shoot them from so the name fits. I never found a perfect spot to shoot from as the best angle would have required a handheld shot by someone with 20' long arms. I don't have those myself so had to settle for the falls being partially obscured. I took a bunch of shots zoomed in on parts of the falls but prefer this one showing the larger scene.

Pile on and lets celebrate falling water once again.

Ben was kind enough to be my personal guide through the Wasatch Mountains in northern Utah recently and brought me to Provo Falls. What a wonderful series of waterfalls one after another. Here is one of my favorite scenes.

Wow Jeffrey, how come I did not get any like this? Watch and learn I guess. This is just fantastic.

Another nice collection of falling water. Here's one of Salt Creek Falls from a couple winters ago, shot on Pan F +

This is an awesome view, looking down stream, throw in the mist and powered sugar and it's a great image.
I usually shot this head on, your shot makes want to go back...
