Wednesday - time for another round of falling water
I was going to post this shot last week but I saved the file on a drive that I didn't take along with me on a trip to the coast soooo......
This is the West Fork of the Wallowa River in northeastern Oregon. Its a narrow chute with a fairly steep gradient that has the water flowing fast enough to almost sound like a train. I could hear it from the trail I was on when I was about 1/4 mile away but had to go overland to find a view of the water. Its roughly 30-40' to the bottom of the chute from the top of the embankments on the sides.
Pile on with your own depictions of falling water.
