Welcome to another round of Waterfall Wednesday. Fell free to add whatever you have depicting falling water no matter the source or venue.

My waterfalls for today are from an early summer visit to the Portland Japanese Garden with a view of Heavenly Falls. Late spring and early summer features a lot of blooms of azaleas and rhododendrons flanking the falls. These falls are not seasonal as all of the garden's water features flow down to a collection pond with a pump system to push the water back up the hillside above these falls.

So these falls are hybrid powered, eh? I guess we could all use a little extra boost to help us on our way. 😁

Yup - all of the water features drain down to a spot right next to the intersection of the road leading to the zoo and the road next to the Rose Gardens.

This is Burney Falls in Northern California. Dubbed "the Eight Wonder of the World" by Teddy Roosevelt. A good place for short telephoto shots!

I really like this view of these falls. More interesting than the big wide view. Can you still visit these falls? I thought I read somewhere that access got cut off due to too many people.

Yes, you can visit them. I had the waterfall to myself for a short time back in early April during a snow flurry.
