Went on an adventure yesterday! Two new waterfalls for me. I was guided by a friend (and co-administrator of the North Carolina Waterfalls Facebook group) Thomas "Badger" Mabry. Together we went to this fall (Lower Bearwallow Falls) in Gorges State Park in Transylvania County, NC. Badger has been to 1700+ waterfalls in North Carolina so he was a huge help as there is no official trail to this fall and the difficulty of the descent at the end is no joke (10/10 hike difficulty in K. Adams' North Carolina Waterfalls book). The fall itself is gorgeous and worth the effort to me. Hope you like it! 10 sec exposure.

Thanks for starting this Alan, and two nice images to start us off. I guess I will squander one of my small lot of real waterfalls this week so I don't seem like a piker;)

This is Battle Creek waterfalls.
Nice one Ben. I like the colors of the cliff face behind the falls. Where is Battle Creek?

One from Kings Canyon NP.
Nice symmetry to the cascades in these falls.

Wow - I really like these falls and the surrounding scene. Nice work with the light.

The pot holes of Presque Isle River, Upper Michigan
I like these pot holes - nice shutter speed for this water flow.

Thanks Alan, Battle Creek is just east of the town of Pleasant Grove, up a little canyon. It's only 4 miles from my house as the crow flies.

This is from up in Rocky Mountain National Park last Saturday. I forgot to pay attention to what river/creek this is.

It was handheld at 1/6th of a second due to hiking with the grandkids and having them crawling on me.
1/6 of a second and grand kids, fantastic
