Time for another round of waterfalls. Anything that shows falling water whether its a hundred foot cliff or a fountain surrounded by concrete fits the bill for posting here.

My falls for today are from Mt. Rainier National Park along Paradise Creek and go by the name of Ruby Falls This part of the falls are just above the bridge on the road leading from Paradise Inn to Reflection Lakes during a fall visit with a relatively high flow for the end of the dry season.

Tye River flow in the cascades after the deception falls. The river hits a rock and turns 90 degrees. Not the best light to capture this.

The steam coming off of the water is a nice twist for a waterfall shot. How hot is the water coming from the hot spring?
The water in Te Manaroa spring is boiling and I’ve seen temperature estimates as high as 100 degrees C. Depending on the wind direction, the spring can be difficult to photograph because of all the steam.

An image from 2017 that I just took another shot at processing. This is Brúarfoss in Iceland, captured from the side rather than the more famous view from the bridge over the river.

Wow - wall to wall cascades. I could easily spend half a day shooting scenes from this spread of falls and that's just from this viewpoint. I love the blue hues in the water.
