Time for another waterfall pile on thread

My starter falls for today are called Heavenly Falls and are a manmade set of cascades rather than a work of nature. A bit cliche but I used a heavy dose of ND filtering so I could catch the leaves spinning in the current.

Very cool Alan! I never thought of moving leaves as cliche, since you really don't see it all that often. I just think it's cool.

Myrtle Falls in Mt Rainier. Normally I don't like a faster shutter speed, but in this rare case I liked it.

Quite nice. Looks like the footbridge on the trail leading up from Paradise Lodge. I believe the actual Myrtle Falls are behind you in this shot.

Several stories all involving people falling from the top, either by accident or throwing themselves off because a loved one has fallen over. Scotland is full of stories of death and destruction. Ken

This is McBurney Falls in Northern California. In June in the middle of the day there is a small Rainbow in the mist at the bottom.

Now for a complete contrast, "Ice cold Merced"

This is McBurney Falls in Northern California. In June in the middle of the day there is a small Rainbow in the mist at the bottom.

I love how these falls seem to partly spring out of the cliffside on the way to the bottom. Nice take on them.

Complete contrast is an understatement - and I like them both. The light on the spout really makes it stand out.
