Waterfall Wednesday 2/24/2021

It's Wednesday so time for another round of waterfalls.

My starter falls for today are a small unnamed set of cascades along Brandeberry Creek in the Olympic National Forest. There is a Brandeberry Falls that is just below where the Forest Service road crosses the creek that I have posted a couple of years ago on here but this is a set just above the road that has no name on a map that I can find. I decided they didn't require a name for me to shoot them

Those falls are definitely off of the beaten path and have an impressive flow. Not a set of falls I have seen before.

Alan, not too bad of a hike about 11 miles round trip. These days so many people hike it it would be hard to be able to get it like this. Also it is a winter hike, as it is mostly runoff although it does still fall in the summertime but not like this. Very impressive photo's you all have. I enjoyed looking through them!

Having said that I had shown you the last image from Deepdale I have found another and this is the last. It looks as though I can go out and photograph at the end of March (5th April in Scotland) and my vaccination should have kicked in so I should be out and about photographing. Ken

Nice find with that deep dive into the stash. I am jealous of your vaccination. The serum is next to impossible to obtain where I live right now.

Neat when a waterfall just sprouts out of the rocks like this. There is another place like this just west of the north rim lodge named Thunder River where the river comes out of a cliffside.

This is known s Vasey's Paradise Falls, Dan. It is about 32 miles downstream from the Lee's Ferry launch site.
