I have another waterfall panorama from Sweet Creek for today. This scene has always been too wide for one shot if you got up close enough to see the whole width of this basalt ledge. Like most of the channel for this creek the vegetation and the topography make it have to get ideal views of all the various cascades. I'd love to be about 4 or 5 feet higher for this shot but I would have to levitate up into some branches of the forest canopy. The amount of water in the creek determines whether all of the cascades in this scene are discernible and in this case it's almost perfect. I wandered through here last May and the creek was a torrent the was several feet deep across the ledge. There is a spot along the bank in the lower right that was scoured bare from water flow to give you an idea of how deep it was and you couldn't even make out where the ledge was under the rushing water.
