Merry Christmas! Hope your day is going well and thanks for taking the time to visit the weekly waterfall fest.

I have a mid winter scene for today with a foggy view of Latourell Falls in the Columbia River Gorge. The moss on the deciduous tree branches can take on an almost ghostly glow in the midwinter light.

I was looking for winter shots and came across a previously unprocessed image. Not a grand waterfall but a pleasing set of cascades from Deepdale, my favourite waterfall valley in Cumbria. Hoping that everybody has a wonderful Christmas. Ken

An excellent choice Ken - I like the dark stormy mood in this capture. Great shutter speed choice for this flow. Hope your Christmas is going well.

I love the shutter speed you used for this shot - the rapids almost look like a painting when captured like this. Nice work with the dappled light.

Sweet - I almost went with a shot from lower Wahkeena for today before settling on Latourell instead I love the mossy rocks in this scene.
