Welcome to another Waterfall Wednesday :)

My starter falls for today are an unnamed set of falls along Sweet Creek near Florence, Oregon. This was shot back in November with pretty close to peak fall leaves and some good water flow from the fall rains.

Pile on with your own falling water imagery.

That is a neat image Ben. In addition to the clear water, the shutter choice captures the textures of the fall nicely. Whereabouts is this in Rainier?
Right next to Paradise Lodge is a loop road that takes you past the Paradise River. I just hiked up about 1/4 miles from the road. Lots of great white water along that section. I think you could also get here by following the trail from Edith Creek but I have not gone that far.

Another image of Wailing Widow Falls. Hail and rain but my major problem is too much water turning the main falls into an almost featureless wall of white irrespective of shutter speed. I have reposted an image taken from the top of the right hand canyon wall with the kind of flow that I am looking for. This image from Oct 2019 and if I had known just how difficult it is to get this kind of water flow I would have annoyed my wife and turned up an hour late to get the shot from the canyon floor. Probably returning in May which should allow me to get some late afternoon sunlight into the gorge and hopefully lower water levels. Ken

Still looks like a nice set of alls in spite of the high flow rates. I can definitely see your point about the more delicate cascades with the lower water levels in the second image.
