Good morning - Wednesday is upon us so time for yet another round of falling water imagery.

My offering to start thing of this week are a well known set of falls in the Columbia River Gorge from a fall visit a number of years ago - Horsetail Falls.

Pile on with your own images of falling water whether its in a natural setting, surrounded by concrete, frozen or thawed :)

This is The Lower Lewis River Falls in Washington State, about 50 miles north of Alan's photo. Water levels are way down this time of year, in summer this scene is a gusher with lots of spray rising up to your camera's lens!

Sweet - is this from your recent visit to those falls? I actually prefer low flows like these for exactly the reason you show here with the delicate cascades providing so many nice details.

Yes, from a few days ago. This seems a much lower flow than previous Octobers. The entire right side of the falls had nothing going over and was full of downed logs, looking very un-photogenic. All my photos were made in the 100-300mm range on full frame.
